Each month, Mocha Biz Loudoun selects a business to be recognized on our web site and social media pages. It gives our patrons an opportunity to get to know our member businesses a little better and gives the business an opportunity to share their story. This month, our spotlight is on Integrity Consulting Experts, LLC and owner Latoya Morris.
Mocha Biz Loudoun: Ms. Morris, Tell us about your background and your decision to start Integrity Consulting Experts, LLC
Latoya Morris: Integrity Consulting Experts, LLC (Integrity CE) started in late 2013 as a merger of ETE, Inc. a management consulting firm and Lonestar Training and Media Support. We have spent over 20 years providing these services to larger businesses and we wanted to share our passion for training and business consulting with clients in a new way, an integrity-oriented way.
At Integrity CE we believe in working as we live — with integrity. We believe in being honest and transparent with our customers. We quote manageable prices, set realistic expectations and timelines (and meet them no matter what the cost) and then deliver high-quality work that our clients are not only proud of — but that we are proud of as well.
MBL: What are the biggest trends you’re seeing in your industry right now?
Latoya Morris: The biggest trend that we are seeing is the State and Federal government moving increasingly towards online learning (eLearning and Webinars) thus the firms that are supporting these clients are looking for online training development resources to support this need. Even some of the most conservative Federal agencies are starting to value eLearning as a means of providing standardized on demand training for many of its initiatives.
Clients are also starting to understand that because one is an expert in the subject area, there is still a need for a training expert (instructional designer) to develop solid, performance-based training that truly leads to measurable and meaningful outcomes. Additionally, small clients are starting to discover the benefits of providing eLearning modules to clients as a means of saving their staff time and stretching their resources. They are using it to provide system demonstrations, technology tutorials, and new hire training.

MBL: Who can benefit the most from your Training, Web Development, Program Management, and Business Development Consulting Services?
Latoya Morris: Our products and services are beneficial to a wide variety of clients depending on the service area.
Training: Everyone needs training either for their internal team, their external clients, or for a value-add service to their customers that purchase their products. Our online training design allows businesses of all sizes to provide online new hire orientation, on demand training, and product training at a fraction of what it would cost to have a live person provide instruction time and time again. Small businesses typically purchase product training as a support resource. Larger businesses tend to seek support to develop online or instructor-led training solutions for in-house processes, culture, new hires, manager training, or in support of an external client’s training requirement.
Web Development: Sole proprietorships and small organizations (10-30 employees) benefit greatly from our web design, content development, and graphics support. These organizations typically do not have devoted in-house resources to perform these types of overhead support activities and thus benefit from our ability to provide the IT development support, graphic design, business consultation, and content development support.
Proposal Support and Business Development: Small businesses are great at the work that they do but are not always knowledgeable about how to secure government clients. We help small businesses (2-100 employees) to develop capability statements, past performance libraries, proposal responses, and perform bid/no bid analysis.
Program Management: Clients that support the Federal government typically benefit from our PMP-certified Program Management support. We provide support with schedule and staff/task management, reporting, documentation, and overall program management guidance.
MBL: Give us an example of how you ‘Wow’ your customers
Latoya Morris: Whether a training client, web development, program management or business development client, we have a standard approach for all that includes standard processes and procedures. Clients love that order that we provide. As a small business that works with small, medium, and large businesses; as well as the Federal government, many are pleasantly surprised that we do not function haphazardly, but in some ways like a larger firm. From intake and requirements through development and quality assurance we follow a process to make sure that we are exceeding our clients’ expectations. We listen to their desired end state and help them to achieve that reality.
Beyond providing stellar, error-free products and services, our clients very much appreciate our ability to evolve with their needs. Over time, we become experts at our clients’ lines of business. We know their services, offerings, experience, etc. and thus become a valued partner. Many of our clients started out purchasing one service and because we became experts at their business have purchased services in other areas. We are not a vendor for our clients but a trusted partner.
